| PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: An innovative chemical blend formulated for the removal of those stubborn rust stains on concrete and masonry. RUST OFF is designed as a instant acting ferric ion sequestering formula which loosens and suspends rust and other particles for easy removal by generous flushing with water. Coverage: approximately 150 - 200 sq. ft./gal. AREA OF APPLICATION: Apply RUST OFF by brush, roller, or sprayer onto masonry or concrete surface. Use as a concentrate, or dilute the solution at the recommended dilution ratio depending on the stains to be removed. DIRECTIONS: Testing an area (minimum 4’ x 4’) is recommended to ensure product compatibility. Since RUST OFF is a blended concentrate, it should be mixed with water prior to use. Always pour appropriate amount of water into mixing bucket first, and then add RUST OFF at the recommended dilution ratio. Pre-wet the surface with water, and apply RUST OFF liberally. |
Let it stand for 5-15 minutes. Brush treated area with acid resistant fiber brush to move and loosen colloidal particles of rust from surface. Flush thoroughly with water; and if necessary, repeat for very stubborn rust stains. TECHNICAL DATA: Appearance and odor: clear brown colored solution with mild acid odor. Specific gravity: 1.11. pH of 1% solution: 1-2. Freeze point: -40° F. Solubility in water: Complete. Biodegradability: all surfactants biodegradable. Weight/gallon: 9.25 lbs. |
